Happy New Year 2020! In celebration of our Kansas City Chiefs Playoff Run just 1 game to win to advance to the Super Bowl, I bring you the 1999 Topps #72 Derrick Thomas card.

It was part of a 357 card set that included Season Highlights and Draft Pick Subsets.

Derrick was born 1/1/1967, played College Football for Alabama, was drafted 4th Overall by the KC Chiefs in 1989 and played his entire 11 year career in KC, which included Defensive Rookie Of The Year, 9 Pro-Bowls, 3 x 1st Team All-Pro, 3 x 2nd Team All Pro, NFL Man Of The Year, Led the NFL in sacks in 1990.

He was inducted into the NFL Hall Of Fame in 2009.
